Relation Wall

Daikyo Inc. rebranded its condominium brand to "THE LIONS" in April 2023, and in October of the same year, announced its vision for housing in 2050 titled "THE LIONS JOURNEY: Residences Venturing into the Unknown," aimed at enhancing the value of life.
Under the theme of "challenging the creation of entirely new homes that enhance the value of life," Daikyo has collaborated with renowned architect Yuko Nagayama to develop the "Relation Wall."
The Relation Wall is a movable wall that slides freely along ceiling-mounted rails, allowing residents to flexibly change the layout of their living space by dividing or connecting rooms according to lifestyle changes. By offering a new option that breaks away from the conventional LDK (Living-Dining-Kitchen) model, it enables more freedom in how homes are used and accommodates diverse family structures and lifestyles. This development is positioned as a solution to enhance the value of housing, with implementation targeted for 2030.
At DESIGNART TOKYO 2025, visitors will be able to see, touch, and experience a prototype of the Relation Wall firsthand. Come and discover the appeal of the Relation Wall and explore new possibilities for living.
