Design is not merely about shaping forms; it is a process of "cultivating" and "creating" new value. "Cultivating" means delving into and understanding culture and tradition. Designers explore the history, technology, and ideas of a region, nurturing new concepts from these foundations. In this process, the wisdom and techniques of the past are brought to life in contemporary design.
"Creating" involves bringing concrete forms and functions out of the knowledge that has been cultivated. By utilizing traditional materials and techniques, new designs carry cultural significance and deeper meaning. Through this process, design transcends mere physical form, offering users inspiration and new experiences.
