Placing a chair in a space creates the presence of a person.
I think this strongly demonstrates furniture's innate role as an interface that connects the space and the body.

When I was asked to design a sofa system for hotels, offices, and other places where people gather, I was thinking about creating a lighter atmosphere, rather than something systematic.
The idea is to utilize the potential of each piece of furniture, and create a space by simply "placing" a few pieces of furniture.

With Calisson, we didn't think about trying to solve all problems within the system, but rather the opposite.
Focusing on what it can do and developing its appeal.
I think this attempt suggests one way in which furniture may be used in the future.
